The GMWC has spent an afternoon with Australian wine writer Max Allen.
The club’s Saturday 12 September 2020 ‘Zoom’ meeting included time with the award-winning journalist, author and historian, who shared stories and insights into wine and wine writing.
Much of the discussion focused on Max’s stellar new book Intoxicating: Ten drinks that shaped Australia (Thames & Hudson, 2020).
Max’s candour, generosity and enthusiasm made for a truly great meeting.
