GMWC members should seriously consider an annual subscription to Gourmet Traveller Wine magazine (NZ & Aust). The mag comes out six times a year; so at least buy the odd copy from any good newsagent.
Each month, I find two or three great articles, and these collectively have gone a long way to improving my understanding and appreciation of wine; they’ll help you, too.
Here, for example, is a great article from page 52 of the April-May 2011 edition: a clear, concise and enticing explanation of “terroir”. Enjoy!
