Another great GMWC year was brought to a close on Saturday evening, 13 December 2014.
Members gathered at Sapore restaurant, St Kilda, for a multi-course dinner and a suite of extraordinary wines: a 10-year-old champagne; a 2010 German Riesling (from Mosel); a Petit Chablis; two Pinots; and a 10-year old Heathcote Shiraz.
As the dinner approached its conclusion, one of our members was forced to bail, such was the demanding pace set by the group. Masta, we’re pleased to say, has now fully recovered.
